Robert Cooper’s Biography
Robert Cooper is a team leader in Credit Specialties at Marsh JLT Specialty in Asia and has 13 years of broking and advisory experience in the political risk and structured credit fields having worked across both the London and Singapore insurance markets. Robert transferred to Singapore in March 2013 to focus on business development and account servicing across Asia Pacific. Robert’s main clients include international banks, commodity traders and large corporates in various sectors. He has good knowledge of how to structure non-payment cover for bank and trader facilities, political risk insurance programmes for equity investors / traders operating in multiple territories or for banks looking to provide financing to large infrastructure projects. Robert is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and holds a BA (Hons) in International Business Management with Spanish from Northumbria University in Newcastle, U.K.
