Bill Ledger’s Biography
Bill Ledger is the Managing Director, Global Head of Credit Portfolio Group Lending at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. JPMorgan’s Credit Portfolio Group is responsible for the public side management of the Corporate and Investment Bank’s retained credit portfolio consisting of loans, letters of credit, revolving credit facilities and counterparty credit exposure. Bill’s team of portfolio managers, researchers and traders are responsible for the management of this portfolio including credit analytics, identification of concentrated and potentially deteriorating risk positions, formulation of risk management strategies and, for the loan portfolio, the execution of such strategies. Bill has worked for JPMorgan and its predecessor firms in London and Asia in a variety of loan, credit, emerging market and portfolio management related roles since 1992, prior to which he worked for UBS in London. Bill is currently Vice Chairman of the IACPM board of directors and holds a BSc (Hons) from Brunel University, a MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
