Guan Schellekens’ Biography
Guan Schellekens is lead supervisor in the banking supervision arm of the European Central Bank. He coordinates the ECB’s efforts to integrate climate-related and environmental risks into its supervisory approach. Previously, he worked in various positions at the Dutch Central Bank, including as a project lead on environmental risks. He holds degrees is Biochemistry, Philosophy and Public Administration.
