Nikki Rupert’s Biography
Nikki Rupert is a policy advisor within the newly set up Sustainable Finance Office at the Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). This new office centrally coordinates DNB work on sustainability, both as a central bank and supervisor. Within this capacity Nikki is also the secretary of the Dutch Sustainable Finance Platform. This platform is chaired by DNB and connects the Dutch financial sector, government and supervisors on mobilizing sustainable finance. Before her current role, Nikki coordinated the work on integrating climate related risks within DNB supervision. Before working at DNB, Nikki worked at the Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs where she the liaison for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and within the World Bank Group team. Nikki holds a master in International Economics.
